Well, it was a nice excuse to take a walk as well. I suppose I shouldn't be doing it alone, with my current state of health...

But that doesn't mean it becomes easier... especially when there's always other people around you that aren't that way.

...I guess. Though I don't have any medical conditions, other than my eye but that doesn't cause me problems...

... I admit, I was wondering about your eye. My apologies if that's rude.

Nah... it's fine. It's not like people haven't asked. [ Since it really is just... here. ] The pupils are a condition called polycoria, and I guess I sort of have heterochromia too, but it's more that I'm lacking colour in this eye than having a different iris colour... so it's just lighter. My eyesight isn't very good in my left eye, because the split pupils make the light absorption weird or something like that, but I can still see out of it.

That's really it.

I see. And glasses don't help, I take it?

I'd probably need lens the thickness of a novel on only one eye.

[ Hardy-har. Honestly genuinely interesting as far as mysterious missing eyes go, even if ultimately mundane. That's just thoughts from me, Lowe. ]

Ah. Certainly more inconvenient than just living with the poor sight.

Probably. It made me ineligible for sports, but it doesn't interfere that badly otherwise.

A pity. I hope you weren't aiming to become the next greatest athlete.

I did admire a lot of them, but I was born like this, so I think I probably never had a shot.

Well, I can understand to an extent. I'm capable of physical activity now [or he is when he's not reverted back to sickly maiden era], but my stamina will likely never be good enough for me to keep it up for sustained periods.

Did you want to be an athlete?

Well, not a kn... athlete, exactly. But I do wish I was stronger, sometimes.
